Service Users and Carers Alliance
The Alliance have been busy working on a number of issues this year
including work on the fairer charging policy; adult safety protection
strategies; long term care; work on affordable care; encouraging
flexibility on the delivery of care, community safety issues such as
contributing towards the campaign to restrict the year long sale and abuse
of fireworks and keeping public accessible toilets open. Their annual
general meeting will be held on 1st October this year and they are
planning a launch to encourage new members to join in the New Year.
