Website Accessibility Statement
Overview
We are committed to making this website as accessible as possible to
people using different browsers and assistive technologies and to people
with different impairments.
To that end, we have worked towards this website passing Priority 3 of the World Wide Web
Consortium's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0.
All pages in this website validate to XHTML 1.0 Strict, and the stylesheet
validates as CSS 2.0.

Most browsers support jumping to specific links by typing keys defined
on the web site. On Windows, you can press ALT + an access key; on
Macintosh, you can press Control + an access key.

Other
The following accessibility techniques were used:
- The site is written in as plain English as possible.
- All images have alternative text except for blank images which have
null ALT attributes. More complex images also have long
descriptions.
- The site uses relative text sizes so users may specify their own. (In
Internet Explorer, increase the text size by selecting View > Text
Size > Largest).
- Navigation aids for text browser users, including "skip links" for
bypassing navigation bars and relative links.
- All pages on this site use structured semantic markup. H2 tags are
used for main titles, H3 tags for subtitles. For example, on this page,
JAWS users can skip to the next section within the accessibility
statement by pressing ALT+INSERT+3.
- All link text makes sense out of context. Many links have title
attributes which describe the link in greater detail, unless the text of
the link already fully describes the target (such as the headline of an
article).
- All pages contain a search box.
- The site uses a stylesheet but can be rendered without it or using a
custom stylesheet.
